FIR Carmella

FIR Carmella is a beautifully conformed female with striking presence. She has great stature, capacity and bone on a well balanced frame. Carmella also has a very pleasing head style. Her phenotype is a carbon copy of her sire Amber Autumn Cavalier, an Elite Maximus son . It is no surprise Carmella performed so well in the show ring. Her fleece has an exceptionally long staple, (MSL 158mm !), exhibiting a high frequency crimp from skin to tip (MC 54.5). It is also extremely dense (7.2# shear weight) and fine, with a very soft handle resulting from a high degree of uniformity (AFD 18 microns, SD 3.3,CV 18.2%). Again, these fleece traits are a replica of that of her outstanding sire, Cavalier, known for his long staple and lingering fineness. Carmella is friendly and easy going, she will likely be a great foundation dam, as her EPDs (top 5 % in 4/6 categories) certainly predict superior offspring. Carmella's dam TAG Daisy May, a drop dead gorgeous fawn out of AOV Accoyo Eros( 15 blue,5 X Champion,1JC), also has impressive EPDS (top 5 % in 6/7 categories). In 2027 We anticipate a wonderful cria out of Carmella and Legendary Alpaca's TAG Centerfold.
