FIR Ruby by Avalanche

Pearl is a bright white beautiful daughter of our Snowmass Elite Legend son TP Azlan of Legend. Snowmass Elite Legend needs no introduction as a recipient of multiple AOA Spirit of the Industry Awards. In addition Lynn Eden, a highly respected breeder, has published that this herdsire was one of the most impactful males in the history of the alpaca industry . In The American Alpaca Journal Issue 2: January 2020 published by Little Creek Farm/Accoyo America and Snowmass Alpacas, Lynn Edens writes the article titled Breeding to Win: An Analysis of the Genetics of Blue Ribbon Show Animals. Specifically analyzing alpacas in the white male classes Lynn says: “Snowmass Elite Legend was by far the most important living sire represented in the collective pedigrees of the winning white male group: 18 of the 60 winning white males were produced by Elite Legend or descendants of his, and they were produced by 14 different breeding programs. He meets every test of prepotency for the production of show stock.” Pearl's dam, Bianca, comes from a genetic line known for extreme lingering fineness and excellent fleece and bone density. Pearl sports an immense, robust, correct frame and exceptional head. Her capacity is very impressive with tremendous bone as well. An added bonus is Pearl's demeanor which is exceptionally friendly and easy going. She is a very attentive mother too. Pearl consistently shears 10lbs + of fleece annually !!! (top 1% EPDs for FW) Her fleece is bright white, crimpy with a SUPER LONG staple length (top 10% EPDs for SL and SD ). Pearl gave us a beautiful fawn female, FIR Ruby, out of our Val D Lsere son FIR Avalanche. Ruby won 2nd place in Huacaya Fawn Walking Fleece at 2026 TXOLAN show, behind our FIR Sparks Passionate Fever son who took the Fawn Male Yearling Halter Championship in the Blue Bonnet Stakes Show at TXOLAN. Ruby then excelled at the 2026 AOA National Alpaca Show taking 1st in her halter and walking fleece classes with a champion banner in the latter class!.
